Platform devices offering multiple modalities have always had a place in aesthetic practice, whether it is a multi-wavelength device or a platform offering a choice of different modalities such as laser, IPL and fractionated hand pieces.
The focus of this session will be on the versatility, safety and efficacy of the 3 platform devices we will discuss:
- GMPP: dual wavelength laser device which not only treats hair reduction but also benign pigment and vascular lesions, onychomycosis, collagen induction, on all skin types and ethnicities.
- Nordlys: multi-modality platform which utilizes IPL for benign pigmented and vascular lesions, laser 1064nm for vascular lesions that are harder to treat, and Frax 1550/1940 for resurfacing and collagen induction.
- PicoWay: Picosecond device that has multiple wavelengths non fractionated and fractionated to treat benign pigmented lesions, skin rejuvenation, and tattoo removal, safely and effectively on all skin types.
Platforms offering multiple modalities can allow users to offer combination treatments with ease and little downtime, customizing treatments to suit the needs of the customer and expanding with the clinic over time.
